The stay was enjoyable and offered a spacious room, conveniently located just moments away from the sanctuary. I appreciated the superb buffet breakfast with a fantastic variety, including delicious pastries, cheeses, and cold cuts. The hotel was clean and had large public areas to relax after a long day of exploring. I wish there had been a kettle in the room for a cozy cup of tea after returning from the evening procession.

Very gracious staff!!!
Airy room with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a nice sized bathroom. A view of city from my window. Smooth check in and impeccable service. Not to mention excellent wifi! Location just next door to Portugal ..., the center of town, and wonderful Fatima.

The hotel is located very close to the sanctuary and offers a free hotel garage with a very adventurous entrance and exit (not recommended for large cars). The breakfast buffet is extremely rich and delicious. The hotel staff speaks very good English, partly also German and is - typical for Portugal - very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very quiet on the outside, but inside the building they are still very bright. The door lock closes as soon as one pulls the card out of the slot, so that then one has to pull it with a rather loud bang into the lock when leaving the room. Also the doors to the staircase fall very loudly into the lock. Here, a remedy would be necessary, as when in the early morning a travel group leaves the hotel, this noise level is quite annoying.

Comfortable room, convenient location, perfect for those with mobility challenges as it's close to shops and the Basilica, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

The comfortable rooms. The hotel was peaceful and tranquil which is what you want when you go to Fatima. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. There was no tea and coffee making facilities so this was a negative.

The hotel's spacious lobby. The breakfast spread was perfect for our kids, with plenty of options, including fresh fruits and tasty pastries. We also loved being within walking distance of the church, made exploring easy with little ones.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly menu options at dinner.

Location is perfect and it's just across the amazing church of Our Lady of Fatima. Staff were so friendly and helpful, I got plenty of assistance from Clara & Nelson (Front Desk) and the staff from the breakfast were very polite and attentive (Natalia). We love the modern and contemporary design, spacious room, comfortable bed and the breakfast is good. We look forward to the fresh orange every morning and I especially like the cut oranges. There's also a lovely cafe across the hotel (Lua Quentinha) that became our regular tea break destination and the Hamburger is superb and not to forget the owner, Mr Oliveira was most helpful with info about Fatima and getting around. We will definately come back and stay at Santa Maria.
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and thought that if there's some new menu for breakfast would be perfect as after the 3rd morning, we felt that we needed something different apart from sausage and scramble eggs.

We stayed at the Santa Maria on our own private pilgrimmage to Fatima. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the Sanctuary. It is on a quiet street and the decor is beautiful. Breakfast is included in the price per room per night. Dinner in the hotel dining room is reasonably priced and very good. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely meditation room off the hotel lobby. I certainly hope to return there.

Perfect location for pilgrims
We loved the close proximity to the Basilica! The breakfast was on point with a ton of options, especially Amerigo. The only hiccup was limited dinner choices in town. Would've liked more nearby options. The A/C in our room was a lifesaver during the warm nights.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I liked the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness of the bathroom. I will certainly stay here again in my next visit to Fatima
Food is average quality. However, we appreciate their serving us dinner despite the late hour.
